Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort Makes $1,000 Donation to Fundacion Autismo Aruba
Throughout the month of April – recognized as National Autism Acceptance Month in the U.S. – Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort and Horizons Bar showed their support for the cause through several different contributions. All month long, Amsterdam Manor radiated a beautiful blue in honor of Autism Awareness while Horizon’s added a new Happy Puzzle Cocktail to the menu. In an attempt to extend efforts even further, a portion of Horizon’s menu sales were donated directly to the Fundacion Autismo Aruba, one of the few organizations on the island that works specifically for the interest of people with autism, their families and caretakers. On May 31, Amsterdam Manor hosted the official check ceremony with the foundation and a $1,000 check was presented to Carolina Span, Fundacion Autismo Aruba’s chairwoman. Even though April has passed, Amsterdam Manor will continue to show their support and contribute to this foundation, as they strongly believe in their mission and vision.
