Casibari Jazz Festival…This Weekend!
On September 20 and 21, the 1st edition of Casibari Jazz Festival (CJF) will be held at Casibari Music Café & Grill. It’s a fantastic location, set next to the Casibari Rock Formation, in the heart of the island.
The festival will feature jazz, blues and Latin music; an artisan market; and a food court featuring multiple creative restaurants.
CJF will also go on a school tour to educate and cultivate music appreciation among the island’s students. This has always been an important element to the festival, and a central social and cultural goal.
Confirmed Local Acts: Ará Caribbean Jazz Sextet; Oruba with Reno Steba and Robert JeanD’or, who will accompany the great multi-instrumentalist and composer Tony Succar.
International Acts: Tania Kross (NL), singing together with Randal Corsen (CUR) & Friends; Count Tutu (USA); Michael Bremo (USA); and Antonio Bello (SP).
Longtime festival fans will not be disappointed.
This new festival is made possible by Unoca, Aruba Airport Authorities, Divi Resorts, Balashi, De Palm Tours, Super Food, Setar, CMB, Renaissance, High Performance, Hertz, Interprint, AFAS, Cas di Cultura, ADCTRA, Aruba Port Authorities, Divi Tamarijn Aruba All-Inclusive, and Puro Fairtrade Coffee.
