Chef Urvin Croes Invited to Participate in “BogotaEats” Next Month

Aruba’s culinary landscape is evolving, thanks to the visionary talent of Chef Urvin Croes, the creative mind behind the most complex and innovative fine dining experience on our island, Infini Aruba. In less than four years, Urvin and his team have redefined what ‘fine dining’ means in Aruba, offering an 8-course menu that changes every three months. Their commitment to creativity and excellence has not only captivated lovers of Caribbean cuisine but has also earned significant international recognition.

Infini Aruba is not just a restaurant; it is a blank canvas for Chef Urvin and his team to create gastronomic masterpieces that rival those in the world’s culinary capitals. Their dedication to pushing the boundaries of fine dining has garnered interest from various prestigious culinary events in Washington, New York, Houston, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Spain, Colombia, and the Netherlands.

As Infini approaches its fourth anniversary in November 2024, the restaurant continues to attract some of the world’s most renowned chefs, who come to Aruba to collaborate with Chef Urvin and his team. In September, Chef Urvin has been invited to showcase his skills at ‘BogotaEats,’ one of the most prominent culinary festivals in South America, where he will join forces with internationally influential chefs who have been part of this event in the past.

But Chef Urvin’s influence doesn’t stop there. In September, he has also been invited to showcase his talents in the Dominican Republic, where he will team up with Chef Jason Howard, a former Master Chef winner from London, who, like Urvin Croes, focuses on promoting Caribbean cuisine at a high level.

It is also important to mention the significant role of the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) in this project. The culinary aspect of Aruba is one of the products that ATA is most actively promoting internationally. They have supported many of our chefs, ensuring that Urvin Croes could be present at the event in Bogota. ATA itself sees BogotaEats as a valuable event to attend as Aruba. The close collaboration between the culinary sector and ATA is highly appreciated.

In addition to Infini, Chef Urvin is also the creative force behind Po-Ke Ono, a restaurant that has become a fixture in Aruba’s dining scene. Consistently ranked among the top 10 restaurants on our island, Po-Ke Ono has maintained the number one spot in the Palm Beach area on TripAdvisor for over two years. Po-Ke Ono exemplifies Chef Urvin’s ability to combine innovation with accessibility, bringing extraordinary dining experiences to a broader audience.

For those seeking Aruba’s highest culinary experience, Infini is the place where local talent meets international standards. Chef Urvin Croes and his team invite those who appreciate quality cuisine to come and experience for themselves what is the most creative and innovative kitchen on our island. Each dish is a testament to Infini’s dedication to excellence. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a world-class culinary experience, Infini offers an experience on par with those in renowned destinations like France, London, New York, or San Francisco.
