Slather Up For Carnaval!

By Debbie Kunder

This Carnaval season, Aruba Aloe wants to remind everyone to slather on the sunscreen during daytime parades and other Carnaval festivities. And don’t forget the kids! Aruba Aloe also aims to educate the community about how often sunscreen should be applied (every 2 hours), how it should be used even on cloudy days, and how everyone should use it regardless of skin type. Got it?

It’s a good reminder—most of us are mostly focused on enjoying the frenzied energy of Carnaval, so sunscreen is often an afterthought. But your skin will thank you later!

Aruba Aloe is also sponsoring Aruba’s police force and Red Cross volunteers during the Carnaval season, providing them with tubes of its new Mineral Sunscreen for protection during the long hours they’ll spend in the direct sun during daytime festivities. Members of the Red Cross are also being gifted the company’s signature Foot Creme, which will help provide them with some much-needed (and much-deserved) post-parade foot relief.

If you haven’t heard about the company’s new mineral-based sunscreen, you can check out my post about it here. But here’s a recap of why I love it (and why you’ll love it too):

1) It’s coral friendly!

2) It offers broad spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays, thereby helping to prevent sunburn, cancer, wrinkles, and premature aging.

3) It’s hypoallergenic—good news for my sensitive skin!

4) It rubs in really well and does not leave a white cast on the skin, which is typical of many mineral sunscreens.

5) It’s packed with moisturizing 100% Aloe Vera Gel sourced from the company’s own Aloe fields.

So go stock up before the big parades! And get this: Leading up to the parades, all locals will receive a 20% discount on Aruba Aloe products. Pretty sweet deal, indeed.

Here’s to wishing you a safe and happy Carnaval season!
