A native of Pennsylvania, Debbie traded her farm-country roots for a turquoise sea and blond beaches when she moved to Aruba over a decade ago with her husband. She joined the Island Temptations team soon after, starting as a contributing writer, and later becoming the magazine’s copy editor as well. She especially enjoys meeting and writing about the many interesting people who make the island of Aruba so unique. In addition to writing, Debbie is a math tutor and volunteers at the Aruba Animal Shelter. Her two dogs, Pickle and Relish, round out her little island family.
